Jamie has had a great run up the New South Wales coast to Sydney, and is planning to come in and tie up at the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia at Darling Point, tomorrow (Friday 30th April) at 1PM. Anyone who has been following his voyage and would like to come down to see him in tomorrow, you are very welcome to do so. Look forward to seeing you there!

  5. Great work - and you must be so relieved getting north away from The Bight & Bass Straight at last! Regret I've been so pre-occupied watching Jessica & Jeanne's dots on the map, that I took my eyes off your blog and didn't realise you were already in Sydney. Meahnwhile, they appear both to be still trapped in the corner - wonder how long either or both of them are going to get a chance to escape. So glad you're not also pinned down there atm. Enjoy Sydney - and make lots of friends, as usual. cheers - and the best for when you take off again, upwards & onwards ...

  6. It's early Sunday morning here and it's good to read that you've reached Sydney ... jolly good sailing! If I were down that way I would surely like to see you come in.

I can't even begin to imagine the seas and winds you've had to contend with, let alone hailstones and a broken toilet system, although looking at Jessica's latest photo of the mountainous seas there's a glimpse of what you've had to contend with. You're rather courageous to be out in those conditions. Nobody could get me out there. I'm a dinky-di landlubber.

Looking forward to finding out whether you'll be popping in anywhere along the Sunshine Coast. In the meantime, enjoy your break and we look forward to hearing about the journey north.

  7. Job well done.....You and Jesse are role model examples of the Aussie "can do" spirit...I hope the world takes notice and that people will better understand that the sun always shines behind the clouds...Challenges in life can be conquered, can be overcome and indeed can be very rewarding for the spirit and mind..
Will you be part of the Jesse welcome flotilla..What a proposition..Two of Australia's great together..
    God Bless...
